REV NWA

Bio
Formed in the long shadow of 2026, REV NWA emerged out of what Sim Jackson calls the “pressure of absence”:
“I couldn’t help but stand around at some of these shows and wonder if there were actual songs underneath these $3,000 synths and drum machines. Is this the kind of music that should be made at the end of the world? This is all we have to say?”
REV NWA’s conceptual focus is vitriol, persecution, and derision — a project that would rather make sense than make friends. Drawing from the confrontational minimalism of Fad Gadget, the emotional severity of Kommunity FK and Asylum Party, the melodic discipline of The Human League, and the abrasive physicality of Nine Inch Nails, REV NWA pulls from the parts of goth and industrial that felt dangerous, intimate, strange, and genuinely song-driven. The aim is not to "sell a vibe to goth kids" but songs with pressure behind them: cold, hostile, melodic, and deliberate.
